About Coronado
The city of Coronado,
California is home to over 26,000 people. The small town is
connected to the City of San Diego by the San Diego Coronado
Bay Bridge and to the City of Imperial Beach by State Highway
75 (Silver Strand Blvd). The locals lovingly refer to the
Village as "Coronado Island" which is surrounded by
the Pacific Ocean, San Diego Bay, Glorietta Bay and Naval Air
Station North Island. Along with the amicable, small-town
atmosphere the most desirable characteristics about Coronado
living are top rated beaches, excellent weather, a highly
rated school system, and low crime rate.
The majestic emblem of Coronado, California is the oceanfront
Hotel Del Coronado (pictured above), that instantly turned
Coronado, Ca into a beach resort destination when it opened
on February 19, 1888. The Hotel Del Coronado has become a
living legend with it's rich history, historical landmark
designation, visits by thousands of celebrities and dignitaries
and the legend of "the ghost". The Hotel Del is
ideally located along 31 oceanfront acres and reflects an
elegant example of Victorian architecture.

Coronado is definitely the place to be if you love recreation
and the great outdoors. The city's top rated beaches are the
place to swim, surf, sail, fish, jog, stroll, picnic or relax
and watch the sun set. You can even enjoy the beach with
man's best friend at Dog Beach. The Coronado Municipal Golf
Course is a 72 par, 130 acre golf course offering scenic
views of San Diego Bay, Glorietta Bay and San Diego skyline.
There's always a court ready for your tennis game with
Coronado's 19 public courts. The 15 miles of dedicated paths
that wind throughout Coronado allow biking, skating, jogging

Landing Marketplace, the bay side complex comprised of shops
and restaurants. Downtown Coronado (Orange Avenue) has that
small-town feel with it's unique shops and restaurants, many
offering outdoor dining. Grab a drink and enjoy live
